Recently, a forecast warned of possible tornado outbreaks and severe thunderstorms in Houston and Austin.

Fox Weather News reported that an ice storm brought severe weather conditions in the South that resulted in significant road delays and widespread power outages in Texas.

This week, the rapid storm is forecast to reach the Midwest. However, it would not stay for long.

According to AccuWeather’s latest forecast this February 9, a wintry weather condition would unload in the Midwest starting Thursday in the Midwest.

In AccuWeather’s outlook, snow is expected in St. Joseph, Des Moines, Dubuque, La Crosse, Green Bay, Marquette and Sault Ste. Marie.

Snow is also forecast in Missouri, parts of Michigan, Iowa, Minneapolis, Minnesota and Wisconsin. There is a chance of heavy snow to unload this week.

Rain and snow are expected in Chicago on Thursday.

The widespread snow in the Midwest would cause slower commutes and travel disruptions.

Foggy conditions are possible that would be more problematic for motorists.

Due to the high chance of heavy snow, motorists should allot extra time while on the road. Maintaining a travel distance is advisable.

Meanwhile, the National Weather Service added that a storm would reach Ohio Valley and the Great lakes this Thursday.

The snow system will bring heavy snow to Eastern Canada on Friday. In addition, New England and Upper Michigan can expect wintry mix conditions.

AccuWeather reported that the strong winds would unload on Thursday night in Nashville, Indianapolis, Detroit, Columbus, Lexington, Columbus, Eerie and Pittsburgh.

The forecast warned that the dangerous cross winds would unfold troublesome travel conditions.

The strong winds can result in air travel disruptions and power outages.
